Personal one-to-one interview coaching with Jeff Priestley — helping you walk into your next interview with confidence, clarity and a real plan.

Does This Sound Familiar?

You’ve got the skills. You’ve got the experience. But when it comes to the interview itself, something gets in the way.

Maybe you freeze when the questions start. Maybe you talk too much — or not enough. Maybe you leave the room knowing you didn’t do yourself justice, and wondering why.

You’re not alone. And it’s not about ability. It’s about preparation, structure and knowing what interviewers are actually looking for — which is rarely what most candidates think.

That’s exactly where Jeff Priestley comes in.

Our clients often tell us they’re struggling with…

  • Not doing themselves justice at interview
  • Not knowing how to answer the questions
  • Over-talking or under-selling their strengths
  • Lacking confidence walking into the room
  • Being unclear what the interviewer is really looking for
  • Not knowing what questions to ask — or how to handle the salary question
  • Uncertainty about body language and how they come across

Interview Coaching With Jeff Priestley

Jeff has spent over thirty years on both sides of the interview table — coaching candidates to perform at their very best, and training interviewers and selection panels to find the right people. That dual perspective is rare, and it’s what makes his coaching so effective.

He doesn’t just tell you what to say. He helps you understand the interview process from the inside — what interviewers are really thinking, what they’re looking for, and precisely how to communicate your experience in a way that gets them to imagine you in the role.

“Because that, ultimately, is what every interview comes down to.”

What the Session Includes

Your coaching session lasts three hours and is personal, practical, and entirely focused on you.

Stage One — The Diagnostic Interview

Jeff begins with a short mock interview to identify exactly where your strengths lie and where the coaching needs to focus. This ensures every minute of the session is relevant to you specifically — not a generic template.

Stage Two — Your Personal Coaching Programme

Drawing on your diagnostic, Jeff introduces his proven interview model — a clear, structured approach to every stage of the interview process, from the moment you walk in the room to the questions you ask at the end. This includes —

  • Understanding what interviewers are really doing at each stage
  • Building rapport and reading the room — the skill of calibration
  • Telling your career story compellingly and concisely
  • Answering competency and behavioural questions using the STAR technique
  • Handling questions you don’t know the answer to — confidently
  • Asking the right questions at the end — the ones that put you in the picture
  • Managing interview nerves and arriving in the right state of mind

Stage Three — Video Feedback

One of Jeff’s most powerful coaching tools is video. You’ll see yourself as the interviewer sees you — your body language, your pace, your presence. This is often the moment clients describe as genuinely transformative. Your video becomes a personal record to review whenever your next interview comes around.

What You Take Away

Every client leaves the session with a copy of Jeff’s workbook — An Insider’s View of a Winning Interview — a practical, structured guide to everything covered in the session, including all the worksheets and exercises to help you prepare thoroughly for the real thing.

“We have coached thousands of people literally to present themselves at an interview in a truthful yet positive light — and successfully demonstrate how they could do the job. And yes, very often winning the interview.”

Barely a week goes by at the moment without a headline warning us that artificial intelligence is about to make whole categories of jobs obsolete. If you believe everything you read, half the workforce will be redundant within a decade and the rest of us will be working for algorithms.
